My Story

Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Hema Malini, and for 15 years I chased what many call success. Titles, promotions, corner offices — the whole ladder. But somewhere between the deadlines and the applause, I realized those ladders rarely led to joy.

Life has a way of slowing us down when we forget what truly matters. For me, it came through illness — a hard teacher, but an honest one. In those quiet moments, I discovered that happiness doesn’t live in the next achievement. It lives in the present moment, in gratitude, and in the courage to let go of “more.”

When I started wishing people “Happy whatever-time-it-was,” it wasn’t just a playful greeting — it was a gentle reminder that joy can exist anywhere, anytime. That simple truth led me to minimalism — not as a trend, but as a philosophy of enoughness.

I shared my story in a magazine article, never expecting the wave of connection it would spark. One story became a YouTube channel, which blossomed into a vibrant, supportive community. In December 2023, I launched our Minimalism Community, and within months, it touched hundreds of lives — proof that simplicity connects us in profound ways.

Our “Law of Abundance” workshops celebrate growth, gratitude, and intentional living. Because minimalism isn’t about deprivation — it’s about making space for more of what truly matters.

For over eight years, I’ve lived without a TV and refrigerator — and discovered more peace and clarity than ever before. My books, “Less Means More” and “Happiness Found in Less,” share those lessons in depth.
